Grading and Managing Assignments with RootWorkz LMS
Tired of giving assignments to your students the traditional way? Rootworkz brings to you an excellent and easy to use platform through which you could manage and grade the students for their assignments in just a couple of minutes. Now there shall be no more hassle of conveying messages regarding deadlines and giving feedback to students manually. just follow these steps to easily manage and grade assignments.
Sign in with your Credentials.
You will be redirected to the dashboard. Click on the “Assignment Manager” icon present at the bottom of the page
Click on create assignment.
Fill in the various details asked on the page.
These includes basic information such as:
Any attachments or drive link. (mandatory)
However, to ease the work of teachers an additional feature of time limit is also set. with the help of this feature provided by Rootworkz you could now fix a -
Start date and time
Due date and time
After filling all the details click on “create assignment” option.
Now this assignment would be visible to the student on his portal . once he submits it you would be notified
After the student has submitted his assignment it will be visible to you in “assignment manager ” on your dashboard.
Click on the assignment manager option present on your dashboard.
Click on “edit” button corresponding to your assignment. A dropbox will appear. Click on “view submissions” option.
A list of students of your batch will appear who have submitted the assignment. Click on the square download icon to view the work submitted by a particular candidate.
After going through the assignment, you can even evaluate/ grade the student for his assignment. You just have to click the evaluate button (present on the same page that you opened in step 7).
Mark the student according to his work. You may even give him a feedback and provide the student with your valuable review on what you feel about his assignment and how can he improve further.
Click “submit”. You have successfully graded the assignment.
